HeadLight Repair

This is off a 1990 CBR 1000 F the parts are almost impossible to find and exspensive when you can find them, the owner of this bike said he could not find any replacements. The head light proved to be the most challenging, it was repairable, the adjustment still works although I was unsure that I was going to be able to pull it off until I actually finished with the part.

Head lights for bikes are expensive even when you can find them, the cost to repair this head light was $100

the adjuster had been broken off

One of the more difficult aspects of doing head lights is that they have to be water tight, you can see where the adjuster was pulled completly off of the head light housing leaving huge hole, also if you look at the bottom the tab was broken off, though not in the picture the other tabs had been damaged also

New tab and repairs
