This is off the same bike as the head light, the owner had his bike stolen and the thief crashed his bike, he was left with a classic bike that was previously in good shape that now had damage to parts that he could not find any replacements for The cost of these repairs was $180 for the cowl and $80 for the gray top half
The before 
This part was missing large piece of plastic, because it was recovered by the police no one thought to pick up the missing part. If you do go down pick up all of the plastic it is cheaper to repair than if we have to make the missing part.
The Repair
You can see the extensive welding done on this part, the red is the part I made to replace the missing plastic, it is off a Kawasaki but I don't thing anyone will notice.
The bike all back together and looking like it did before it was stolen.
